As a follow-up to palliative distributed to the Informal Sector during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) on Monday 6th June 2020 extended her gestures to the Executive Members of the following associations: National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Kwara State Chapter, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), and Joint Okada Riders Association.

Mr. Temi Kolawole, Head Corporate Affairs Department, KWIRS who represented the Service, in his address, welcomed the representatives of the associations and said the gesture is to appreciate and show some support during this period.

Also in attendance were; Mrs. Maimunat Amasa, Head Informal Department, Members of the various associations; Alhaji Abdulrasaq Adeoye Ariwoola, Chairman of NURTW; Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa, Chairman of RTEAN; Mr. Gabriel Ajewole, Chairman of Joint Okada Riders Association and Mr. Abdullahi Sa’ad the Babaloja General of Kwara State.

Each of the association appreciated the kind gesture and thanked the Service for extending the Covid-19 Palliative to them during this period and a group photograph was taken.
