The Executives of Society of Women In Taxation (SWIT) led by the 1st Vice National Coordinator, Dr. Biola Adimula visited the Executive Chairman of KW-IRS Shade Omoniyi at the Corporate Head Office, Ilorin on Wednesday 5th March 2020.
Dr. Adimula stated clearly during the visit that the essence of the courtesy call is to ensure KW-IRS’s involvement in activities of the SWIT through occupying important positions; readiness to assist the State government in revenue generation and continuous tax advocacy.
She also emphasized the need for Kwarans to express readiness in performing their civic responsibilities for the development of the State at all times.
Adimula said for further cordial relationship between the agency and the association, more sponsorship should be approved for the staff of the KW-IRS who are also members of SWIT to attend the forthcoming scheduled conferences.
In her separate response, the Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi extended her appreciation to the Executives of the Association for deeming the visit necessary.
She expressed that the Service will ensure the promotion of a smooth relationship between both parties for even development across the board.
She said the Association’s request over sponsorship of conferences for KW-IRS staff will be critically examined and prompt response will be communicated appropriately.
