TOWARDS AN ENHANCED REVENUE ADMINISTRATION IN KWARA, KW-GIS, KW-IRS MEDIA TEAMS MEET

The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW- IRS), welcomed the Press Unit of  Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS), to the Revenue House, in Ilorin, today, 21st February 2023 on a familiarization visit, to understudy the media operations at KW- IRS and for continual collaboration.

Receiving, the visiting team, the Head, Corporate Affairs, KW-IRS,  Titilayomi Ogunwale, and her team walked the sister-agency through the media activities of the Service, after which both teams exchanged ideas on growing IGR of the State.

KW-GIS Press Unit, led by Abdulrazaq Yusuf,  appreciated the
laudable feats of KW-IRS under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi, especially in the areas of the use of technology and media platforms to educate and sensitize the public on tax-related matters, activities of the Service and also in creating mutual and beneficial relationships among agencies of government, stating that through the visit, KW- GIS press is set to adopt modalities and processes of tax advocacy in place at the State revenue house to improve its activities and revenue for Kwara.
