The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) wishes to notify the general public of the increment in premium rate for Motor Insurance by STACO PLC as directed by its regulatory body, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) for immediate compliance.
Please note that the new premium rates for insurance is from NAICOM and NOT a Kwara State Government or Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) directive.
It is a directive from NAICOM as stated in its circular dated 22nd December 2022, with effective date from 1st of January, 2023.
Vehicle, tricycle, and motorcycle owners are by this message free to choose any other insurance firm but should note that valid proof of ownership certificate CANNOT be issued by KW-IRS without presentation of valid insurance documents from vehicle, tricycle, and motorcycle owners.
