The Kwara State Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists (KWASHCO) led by its State President, Mrs. Funmilayo Oladunjoye has pledged the association’s total support towards revenue growth of Kwara State.
Mrs. Oladunjoye made the pledge in her opening address at the just concluded 2021 Exhibition and Fund Raising Ceremony held at Triumph Event Centre Ilorin. She expressed her profound gratitude to the KW-IRS Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi for her continuous support to the artisans’ groups in the State and her strive to ensure an improved IGR of the State.
The State President, KWASHCO, while pledging members prompt payment and remittance of their Personal Income Income Tax (PIT) to the coffers of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, (KW-IRS), she added that, the essence of the fundraising and exhibition ceremony is to secure funds to complete the association’s secretariat located at Asa Dam area opposite Dangote Factory, Ilorin, and to also showcase new hair products and styles to members and attendants at the ceremony.
In her response, the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) Shade Omoniyi, who was represented by the Head, Informal Sector Department, Maimunat Amasa expressed her appreciation to the members of the KWASHCO for a fruitful working relationship established over the years which has been motivated by the need to further improve the IGR of the State.
The Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi, assured the association of a continuous, productive, and mutual relationship at all times and wishes members a fun-filled festive period.
