The newly appointed Executive Chairman of Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS), ESV. Abdulkareem Sulyman in company of the Acting Administrative Secretary of the Agency, Mrs. Motunrayo Adaran paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS), Shade Omoniyi on Monday, 6th November 2023.
ESV. Sulyman stated that the familiarization visit was necessary to strengthen the existing relationship between the two sister agencies of government, and to synergize on improving the processes involved in property tax-related matters and enhancement of IGR for the State.
Receiving the visiting team, the Executive Chairman, KW-IRS, Shade Omoniyi congratulated the new KW-GIS Executive Chairman on his appointment, and wish him a remarkable tenure of office.
Omoniyi stressed that the Service is ever willing to collaborate with all agencies and stakeholders in ensuring appropriate and suitable processes that will aid achievement of the developmental goals of the State are in place and embraced by all.
The meeting had in attendance the Director, Legal and Compliance of KW-IRS, Shehu Abdullahi, and some members of staff of both KW-GIS and KW-IRS.
