The Kwara State Government has announced the appointment of Abdullahi Shehu Mogaji as the Director, Legal & Compliance for the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS).
According to the Kwara State Government, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Abdullahi Shehu Mogaji holds a degree in Law at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and graduated in 1997.
He possesses vast knowledge in Corporate governance, Commercial Law and practice, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Company Law, and Secretarial practice.
Barrister Mogaji headed Adebayo Adelodun & Co., where he provided several legal representations and advisory roles.
He was also a staff of the defunct Trade Bank Plc where he rendered legal services,represented the bank on several legal occasions before setting up his private legal practice in 2006 in Ilorin, Kwara State.
In 2014, Barrister Abdullahi Shehu Mogaji was appointed the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to Harmony Holdings Limited for the three subsidiary companies – Harmony Transport Services Limited, Kwara Football Academy and Kwara Ethnix Design Limited. He also rendered shared services to Kwara Hotels Limited, Harmony Holdings Limited Investment & Property Development Company Limited and Harmony Holdings Limited.
Until his appointment as the Director, Legal & Compliance Directorate at KW-IRS, Barrister Mogaji was the Acting Managing Director/CEO and Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser to Harmony Holdings Limited Investment & Trust Limited, between June 2019 and February 2021.
Barrister Abdullahi Shehu Mogaji is an indigene of Kwara State, married and blessed with children.
