The Industrial Trust Fund (ITF) has awarded Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) an award in Best Human Resource Development for the year 2021.
The award is in recognition and appreciation of an unprecedented steps of the Kwara State government in training over 300 staff of KW-IRS in various programmes of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
Making the award presentation to the Executive Chairman, KW-IRS, Shade Omoniyi, the Director-General/CEO, ITF, Sir Joseph Ari, represented by the Director, Corporate Planning Development, ITF, Alhaji Usman Sani Daji, appreciated the Governor AbdulRazaq’s led administration for the support and enabling environment created which has contributed immensely to the sustenance and development of ITF in Kwara.
In her remarks during the ceremony, which took place today, Wednesday 14th December 2022 in the Ilorin Area Office of the organization at the Annual Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum, the KW-IRS boss, Shade Omoniyi dedicated the award to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, reiterating the commitment of the State in constant training and retraining of its workforce in required skills needed to perform excellently in line with best practices.
Shade Omoniyi pledged continuous improvement of staff of KW-IRS on customer satisfaction towards an enhanced revenue for the State and engagement of a competent taxpayers-centered workforce and utilization of technologies that enhance quality service delivery across all operating areas of the State.
