Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Omotayo Ayinla as the Director, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) Directorate of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS). The appointment takes effect from today, Thursday, 1st February, 2024.
Omotayo Ayinla is a seasoned Accountant, Economist, and Auditor with vast expertise in Financial Management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Master of Science in Accounting from Achievers University, Owo, and a Post-Graduate Management degree in Financial Management from the University of Ilorin.
Ayinla is a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN); a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), and an active member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN).
He has worked with the Kwara State Local Government Service Commission and served in full capacity as a Council Senior Accountant at Moro Local Government Secretariat, Edu Local Government Secretariat, Offa and Isin Local Government Secretariats respectively.
Highly skilled in Accounting and Financial Management, Ayinla served as a lecturer at the Lecture Centre of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) up until his appointment by the Kwara State Government as a Director at the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service.
Born on the 27th September 1977, Omotayo Ayinla hails from Kwara State.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
