The Executive Chairman, KW-IRS, Shade Omoniyi, has reiterated her commitment to working with all and sundry, in developing the State.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Oloruntoyosi Thomas on Friday 29th September,2023, the KW-IRS boss stated that the visit was to congratulate the Commissioner on her recent appointment, identify with the Ministry in its drive for efficiency, support of the food security agenda of the government, and in ensuring achievement of the developmental goal of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The visit discussed challenges and strategies to improving activities of the Ministry, particularly, in the areas of management of farm tools and equipment of the State, firming up the relationship with farmers to identify bottlenecks and deployment of required mechanism to Control Posts across the State, to monitor movement of farm produce out of the State, posing threats to food security and resulting in loss of revenue.
Welcoming the team from KW-IRS, the Commissioner confirmed resolutions of the Ministry in putting in place systems and processes that will further aid seamless and productive service delivery and in continual collaboration in the drive for effective operations that will boost farming activities and the Internally Generated Revenue for the State.
The meeting had the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Yinka Olokooba, Directors of the Ministry and staff of KW-IRS in attendance.
