The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) has remitted the sum of N78,953,863.77 (Seventy-Eight Million, Nine Hundred and Fifty Three Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixty Three, Seventy-Seven Naira Only) to the (16) Sixteen Local Government Councils of the State as collections on Four Revenue items for a period of 12 months.
The remittance on the only (4) Four Revenue items collected by the Service on behalf of the Local Government was from the month of June 2019 to June 2020 and on Citizenship, Tenement Rate, Signage and Radio Licence.
The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS), will continue to deploy all available resources towards enhanced revenue generation and collections for the State and remain transparent and accountable.
