The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS), Shade Omoniyi, paid a familiarization visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Social Development, Hon. (Dr.) Mariam Nnafatima Imam, at her office on Thursday, 27th March, 2025.
Omoniyi congratulated the Commissioner on her appointment and acknowledged the significant expectations associated with her role.
The two leaders discussed potential areas of inter-agency collaboration including strategies for revenue generation and support for people with special needs.
The Commissioner appreciated the visit, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to working closely with KW-IRS to drive progress and development in Kwara State.
The meeting also explored opportunities for digitalizing processes to enhance revenue mobilization and reduce loopholes.
In attendance at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Development, Mr Kayode Peter; KW-IRS Director, MDAs, Omotayo Ayinla; Head, Corporate Affairs, Funmilola Oguntunbi, and other officials of both agencies.
