The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) Shade Omoniyi received members of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) at the Corporate Head Office of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, (KW-IRS) G.R.A, Ilorin today Thursday, 21st March, 2024.
The NIPR visiting team was led by the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Honorable Bolanle Olukoju.
The purpose of the visit according to the NIPR team was to establish conversations geared towards a relationship of mutual gains between the agency and the Institute, especially in the area of professionalism and improvement of the communication and public relations officers of the Service.
The courtesy visit was also to formally invite the agency to the forthcoming National Spokespersons Summit.
The Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi while receiving the Public Relations experts expressed her appreciation for the visit and congratulated the Institute for organizing the summit at a critical time like this when the nation needs concerted efforts to eliminate trust deficit hindering national development.
In attendance at the courtesy visit were, Director, Accounts & Finance, KW-IRS, Omolara Ojulari, Director, Admin & Operations, Olatunji Balogun, Director, Legal & Compliance, Shehu Abdullahi, Director, MDAs, Omotayo Ayinla. Members of the NIPR visiting team are Professor Saudat Abdulbaqi, Saadu Salahu, Dr. Saadu Kayode, and other prominent members of the Institute.
