The Executive Chairman, KW-IRS, Shade Omoniyi, today, 12th September, 2023, graced the commissioning of an Upper Area Court, with an e-Affidavit Processing station affixed, at Warah, in Ilorin West Local Government Area of the State.
The event which is another feat of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration was conducted by the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara.
Aimed at providing appropriate and effective administration of judicial responsibilities in the State, the Chief Judge stated that, the Area court will also make oath taking by students of the State owned tertiary institutions convenient and accessible.
Dignitaries at the event were the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, the Balogun Alanamu, Dr. Usman Abubakar Jos, who represented the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Chief Registrar of Judiciary of Kwara State, Ibijoke Olawoyin, and other distinguished stakeholders in the State.
The State is set to commission another well-equipped Affidavit Processing stations in the Magistrate Court, Sango Area, Ilorin and in High Court of Justice, Offa; with computer systems and solar powered inverters for effective issuance of the e-Affidavit.
