KW-IRS Evacuates Refuse at the Alapa Market

The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) also as part of its Community Impact Program (CIP) on Sunday 22 May 2016 embarked on the evacuation of refuse at the Alapa Market, Asa Local Government Area. The Kwara State General Babaloja and Iyaloja, the Alapa market Babaloja and the representatives of the Afon Market were some of the attendees of the occasion.
The Service not only provided tippers to clear the refuse at the dumping site, KW-IRS staff participated in the practical cleaning of the market by gathering refuse all over the market. Like other beneficiaries of KW-IRS CIP, the people of Alapa market expressed joy in the Service listening and responding to their request. They also professed a new found trust for the Kwara State Government.
KW-IRS Community Impact Program in the previous months have included clearing of abattoir at the Ipata Market, Ilorin, and the kitting of pupils with 2 pairs of uniforms, sandals and school bags in four (4) Local Government Areas (Eiyenkorin LGEA School, Budo Egba, Asa LGA; Ifedapo LGEA School, Bala, Ilorin South LGA; Community LGEA Primary School, Koko, Irepodun LGA; and Community LGEA School, Falokun, Irepodun LGA).
